It’s the holiday season now, and we know what that means! College kids get to come back home and deal with–once again–the 11PM curfew set by their parents! Moms and dads with young kids are thrilled that the little ones have managed to get a cold on Christmas Eve, just before the whole family gets in from out of town! Everyone is excited about the drama and stress involved with interactions among in-laws! (Awkward, one-too-many-glasses-of-wine dinner conversation about politics, anyone?)
You might need to take a few minutes to yourself, in order to wind down and maintain a positive attitude. If not, who knows what will happen? Typeracer is here for you as always! It might be just what the doctor ordered.
On a more serious note, we hope that all our users are lucky enough to not be dealing with any of this, and that everyone gets a chance to spend quality time with friends and family. If that’s the case, and you’re busy cherishing this time, we won’t be offended if you decided to take a “typing break” for a few days. Typeracer will be here whenever you are ready for some typing fun!
Happy holidays, and we hope to see you on the track soon!
Congratulations are in order, as Typeracer has finally been granted a registered trademark by the United States Patent and Trademark Office!
It’s been a slow process, with Typeracer CEO Alex Epshteyn first applying over 7 months ago. But, as of last week, Typeracer finally has the “®” that it deserves!
As some of our users may know, Typeracer is proud to be the first game of its kind. It may also be the single largest online community dedicated to typing. Although there my be other typing games on the internet, there will only ever be one Typeracer!
Once again, thanks to everyone who has played Typeracer over the years. Your feedback, suggestions, and even complaints over the years have been essential to Typeracer’s development, and we wouldn’t have reached this point without you. We hope this is just the beginning, though, so keep racing, and let us know what you love about Typeracer, as well as what you don’t love so much, so that we can keep making Typeracer better!
See you on the racetrack!
